it wasn't the final sleep, whoever said that was a complete idiot, it was the final awakening, for she didn't die, she wasn't truly dead per se, she had only just reached a higher level of conciousness. One in form of a new and unknown world; Both light and dark, hot and cold, terrible and beautiful, it was everything that ever was all at one moment.
well, it didn't meet her highly set expectations. for one, there was no fire burning with too hot a flame - and that severly rained on her parade. any afterlife without a raging sea of fire could hardly be considered an afterlife at all, only a terrible foundation of one.
though, the mares darkened heart did feel strangely calm, as if somehow resting in preparation before the grand dance began...she wondered mildly, would it still beat? would it still pound in that familiar staccato rhythm it had perfected since birth as it forced blood though her veins? this brave new world she was faced with was as an understatement highly confusing..but when was the world - both after and before death - not confusing. there was always riddles to be solved, dilemmas to face...so what made this particular state of conciousness any different?
The blue mare let out a barely audible whisper of a sigh, rising her perfectly carven dial upon her serpentine like nape in pride, that familiar omnipresent smile adorning her darkened navy features once more; just positively oozing with a sense of slyness. Harks stood alert upon her skull, swivelling in the silence that befell her, fighting in vain to capture some essence of a sound.
Before her a cliff was lain, it's grassy blades deathly still and non furrowing. The sea too was still, it's fruitless and fathomless depths flat like a mere sheet of lucid tinted glass.
ooc; sorry it's not much, i'm in a rush</3 hope this all fit's in with the whole 'your dead' thang :3
